
DAIDO CORPORATION was established as a wholesaler specializing in dealing with department stores in 1952. Since then, DAIDO has been growing with department stores and product makers along with Japanese economic growth.
But after the collapse of the Bubble-economy, the distribution industry itself has been in the stream of the big change because of the IT revolution and the diversification of the consumer's needs.
And now, DAIDO is also changing drastically.
DAIDO thinks that a company which has only wholesale function
will decrease in value as a business in the distribution industry of Japan from now on. We are aiming at total-produce of product supply to the market.
"Total produce" means not only distribution function that makes product flow smooth but also the function of product planning and production from the customer's point of view, product introducion and information collection from oversea, and product proposal.
Thus, regarding our merchandise, we are doing product planning to aim at product proposal,
which gives tastes to the customer's daily life
in the wider meaning.
